For the first time since 2007, the Jamaican men’s 4x100 relay team lost a world championship final as they fell to the United States at the World Relays tonight in the Bahamas.

Ryan Bailey reached the finish line ahead of Usain Bolt in anchoring a 37.38 time for the U.S., three tenths of a second in the lead. The last time the Jamaican team lost a world championship final was at the Osaka Worlds in 2007.
